I was having trouble sleeping a few nights ago so i thought I would go out and take some photos in what a foggy (and cold) night. I decided to try some long exposure shots between 1-2 seconds as i didn't have my tripod at the time but my camera is quite heavy so keeping still was not much of a problem. I was not feeling very adventurous so i kept to my nearby area and took some photos that i am quite proud of though i think if i had taken some more time I could have done much better. I think i really got a sort of eery feel though not having my tripod really did make a few of them blurry or overexposed at some stages.

These are the photos I was most proud of which is not that many in comparison to how many shoots I was doing but for something I done spontaneously I am quite proud. Overall I enjoyed the shoot and the only real problem I had during that night was staying warm which I resolved at the nearest McDonalds.

  2. These are great Zan. Really atmospheric and elusive. I kind of like how you have used any stabilising equiptment -tripods etc. - it adds to the spontaneous feel they have, as if you weren't supposed to be there and by not being addled with a tripod you could could make a quick get away. And that's always good.
