Gas Hall, Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery
I visited this exhibition at the Gas Hall
and unfortunately was unable to take pictures in there. To me the most
interesting part was ‘Richard Of York
Gave Battle In Vain’ which 78 pieces of artwork were chosen by Cornelia
Parker. She chose a salon hang which I
found particularly interesting when in a space which seemed so typically white
cube. There was a wide range of art from portraiture from the 16th
century to more modern pieces.
